liverpoolphotos was established in 1999 as an online picture resource for the public and commercial organizations. This collection of photographs has been built up over 20 years and still today is updated with original and new images reflecting the changing city scape of Liverpool.
This photographic web site celebrates Liverpool (UK), all the more topical today as 2007 marks the 800th anniversary of the city's founding charter. In 2008 Liverpool will jointly become European Capital of Culture along with Stavanger (Norway).
in addition to photographing the city I have been involved in a number of publishing ventures more recently streamlining the publishing into the Clites500 imprint which also represents, Shanachie publishing.
Cities500 International Publishers and Garlic Press have probably published the most distinctive books on Liverpool in the last decade, "Liverpool the first 1000 years, Liverpool World Heritage City, Waterfront and The Friendship Arch". However not forgetting my roots, last year cities500 published "Wirral Waterfront" (home to The Open at Hoylake in 2006) a photographic celebration of a unique Peninsular with two of the greatest views in the World, the historic Liverpool Waterfront and the river Dee framed by the rolling Welsh mountains. Additionally to celebrate the return of The Open Cities500 published Mighty Winds... Mighty Champions: The History of The Royal Liverpool Golf Club. Many of the images found on this site appear in the above mentioned book.
These images can be supplied in print and digital formats. All the prints are produced by Click Imaging.
